Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Emergency Department
Warren General Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Emergency Department team. This is an exciting opportunity to provide hands-on care in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where every shift makes a difference.
Full-Time | 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM | Variable Days & Weekends
Key Tasks:
Deliver quality patient care within scope of practice; under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN)
Passing medications and perform IV therapy in accordance with hospital standards.
Provide direct patient care and perform procedures such as:
Respiratory treatments
Dressing changes
NG tube care
EKGs
Monitor and document vital signs, telemetry, and other data accurately in the EMR.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Uphold all hospital and nursing standards to ensure excellent, compassionate care.
Qualifications:
Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Pennsylvania
BLS Certification
Crisis Management Certification (within 6 months of hire)
Two (2) years of Med/Surg or Telemetry experience preferred
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting
