Enterprise Applications Analyst (Clinical IT)


SUMMARY: Supports the design, implementation, maintenance, optimization, and ongoing management of new and existing health information systems and enterprise applications across Warren General Hospital and Warren Medical Group. This role collaborates with IT team members, vendors, and clinical, operational, and administrative stakeholders to support application functionality, system enhancements, testing, troubleshooting, and end-user needs.

This is a hybrid position with remote and onsite work. Must be available to report onsite to facility located in Warren, Pennsylvania 16365 as needed while also being productive in a remote setting.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

1. Collaborates with IT staff, vendors, and end users through a combination of onsite presence and remote tools to assist in the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise applications.

2. Prepares and maintains system documentation, procedures, and application information to support operational continuity and user understanding of system processes.

3. Develops and executes test plans and coordinates user testing of new or updated applications, enhancements, and functionality to ensure accuracy and stability.

4. Evaluates system enhancements, application functionality, workflow needs, and identified issues and participates in determining appropriate solutions to meet IT and organization objectives.

5. Follows organizational and departmental practices for incident, change management and service request management.

6. Supports the evaluation, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of AI-enabled applications and functionality, including responsible use, testing, security, privacy, and compliance with organizational standards.

7. Troubleshoots and resolves application issues and escalates complex problems to senior analysts, vendors, or management as appropriate.

8. Participates in application configuration, testing, implementation, upgrades, and go-live support for new and existing systems.

9. Documents all support activity, system changes, and resolutions using issue tracking and documentation system2.

10. Maintains courteous, timely, and professional communication with all users, vendors, and organizational stakeholders in both onsite and remote settings.

11. Participates in the IT department's on-call rotation for after hours support, which includes both remote and onsite response when necessary.

12. Provides emergency or backup on-call assistance in the event of systems failure, critical application issues, or scheduled maintenance.

13. Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPECTATIONS:

· Graduate of an accredited college or university with a minimum of an Associate's Degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Information Systems, or related field; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

· Five (5) years of Electronic Health Record experience implementing and supporting health care clinical systems; MEDITECH experience strongly preferred.

· Knowledge of healthcare information systems, enterprise applications, and emerging technologies and the ability to apply that knowledge across clinical, operational, and administrative service areas.

· Knowledge of healthcare workflows, healthcare IT, application integration, and system implementation best practices.

· Knowledge of current security and confidentiality requirements and healthcare data regulations.

· Knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and their application within healthcare, including responsible AI use, data privacy, security, governance, and applicable regulatory requirements.

· Ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with team and organization goals in both onsite and remote settings.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to work independently and as part of a hybrid team.

REMOTE WORK REQUIREMENTS:

· Reliable high-speed internet connection (100Mbps download, 10Mbps upload minimum).

· Secure, HIPPA-compliant home workspace.

· Ability to attend virtual meetings, provide remote user support, and manage tasks independently.
