Warren General Hospital to Open New Urology Suite July 1st

Warren General Hospital is pleased to announce the opening of its new Urology Suite on July 1, bringing advanced urologic care closer to home for patients throughout Warren County and the surrounding region.

Located on the third floor at Riverside Entrance 3, the new suite has been designed to provide patients with convenient access to specialized urology services in a modern, comfortable setting.

The practice is led by Trevor M. Olsen, MD, and Kristi Simpson, PA-C, who will continue to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment for a wide range of urologic conditions.

What is Urology?

Urology is a medical specialty focused on diagnosing and treating conditions involving the urinary tract in both men and women, as well as conditions affecting the male reproductive system. Urologists provide care for patients experiencing a variety of issues ranging from kidney stones and urinary tract disorders to prostate conditions and men’s health concerns.

Conditions Commonly Treated

The new Urology Suite will provide evaluation and treatment for many common conditions, including:

  • Kidney stones

  • Enlarged prostate (BPH)

  • Urinary incontinence

  • Overactive bladder

  • Recurrent urinary tract infections

  • Bladder conditions

  • Blood in the urine

  • Men’s health concerns

  • Erectile dysfunction

  • Elevated PSA levels and prostate health concerns

  • Urinary retention and other urinary disorders

By offering these services locally, Warren General Hospital helps patients receive specialized care closer to home, reducing the need to travel to larger metropolitan areas for appointments and follow-up care.

Growing Services for a Growing Community

The opening of the Urology Suite reflects Warren General Hospital’s continued investment in expanding healthcare services for the communities it serves. Over the past several years, the hospital has added physicians, expanded specialty services, invested in new technology, and strengthened partnerships that help ensure local access to high-quality healthcare.

Most recently, Warren General Hospital achieved designation as a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. The designation helps strengthen the hospital’s long-term financial stability and supports its ability to maintain and expand essential healthcare services throughout the region.

As Warren General Hospital continues to grow, investments like the new Urology Suite help ensure patients have access to specialized care close to home while supporting the hospital’s mission of providing exceptional healthcare for generations to come.

“We are continually looking for ways to improve access to healthcare services for our community,” said Dan Grolemund, Chief Executive Officer of Warren General Hospital. “The opening of the Urology Suite is another step forward in our mission to provide exceptional care right here in Warren.”
