Khanh Vu, MD, MSc, DABR

Dr. Khanh Vu is a highly experienced, board-certified radiation oncologist with an impressive international background in medicine, research, and cancer care. She completed her medical degree at Laval University in Quebec City, followed by training in Family Medicine at the University of Sherbrooke. She went on to earn a Master’s in Pharmacology at the University of Montreal, where her research focused on methylation in lung cancer and early clinical studies of Decitabine.

Dr. Vu completed her residency and fellowship in Radiation Oncology at McMaster University in Ontario, with specialized electives in brachytherapy and head and neck cancers at leading Canadian cancer centers.

Throughout her career, Dr. Vu has provided radiation oncology expertise at respected institutions across the United States and Canada. She has extensive experience with advanced techniques including IMRT, 3D conformal radiation, stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), and stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) for a variety of cancers including lung, liver, head and neck, and skin cancers. Her professional experience includes roles at UPMC Chautauqua, Compassionate Cancer Care in California, and multiple locum tenens positions nationwide, where she provided both comprehensive cancer treatment and specialized vacation coverage for oncology programs.

Dr. Vu is certified by the American Board of Radiology and holds medical licenses in California, New York, and Pennsylvania. She has been a member of the American Society of Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ASTRO) and the American College of Radiology since 2001. In addition to her clinical expertise, Dr. Vu has contributed to medical education, teaching medical students and cancer survivors, and has held leadership roles including Chief Resident at Hamilton Cancer Center.
