Chen Huang, MD

Dr. Huang is a board-certified hematologist and medical oncologist with more than two decades of experience caring for patients across the United States and around the world. Dr. Huang brings an exceptional blend of clinical expertise, leadership, and deep compassion for the individuals and families she serves. Fluent in English and Portuguese—and proficient in Mandarin and Spanish—she is committed to connecting with patients from all backgrounds and ensuring that every person feels understood, supported, and empowered throughout their care journey.

Dr. Huang has practiced in a wide range of clinical environments, from major medical centers in California and Arizona to her own oncology clinic in Guam. Most recently, she served as the leading oncologist for the Northern Arkansas region, caring for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Her background includes extensive experience in chemotherapy management, hematologic disorders, bone marrow biopsy procedures, and the complex needs of patients navigating cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Before joining Warren General Hospital, Dr. Huang’s career included roles with Northern California Hematology Oncology Consultants in Berkeley, Western Arizona Cancer Care, Guam Memorial Hospital, and multiple Veterans Administration medical centers—where she provided oncology, hematology, and internal-medicine care to a diverse population of patients. Her dedication to excellence is matched by her strong belief in teamwork, collaboration, and patient-centered care.

Dr. Huang completed her Hematology and Oncology Fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, her Internal Medicine Residency at St. Mary’s/Unity Health in Rochester, NY, and earned her Medical Doctorate from UFRGS in Porto Alegre, Brazil. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Oncology and remains actively engaged in continuing education and clinical learning.

With her extensive experience, multilingual background, and genuine passion for helping others, Dr. Huang is deeply committed to providing the highest level of cancer care to the Warren community. We are excited and honored to have her as part of the Warren General Hospital medical family.
