Who We Are:

The Pharmacy serves as a pivotal hub where medications are precisely managed, dispensed, and optimized to ensure optimal patient care. Warren General Hospital contains two integral pharmacies: an Inpatient Pharmacy within our Hospital and an Infusion Center Pharmacy within our Cancer Center. Both are managed by dedicated Clinical Pharmacists and Certified Pharmacy Technicians who prioritize patient care.

How We Protect the Patient:

Our Pharmacy team meticulously process prescriptions, verify dosages, and provided specialized medications when required. Working in close collaboration with medical teams, they offering insights into potential drug interactions, side effects, and appropriate administration methods. Our pharmacies utilizes state-of-the-art technology, including online databases for clinical guidance and employ Omnicell’s automated dispensing cabinets. These cabinets, integrated with patient profiles, ensure accurate medication delivery at the bedside.

The Pharmacy at WGH is open Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

To provide a constant presence and to provide the medical staff with expanded pharmacy services, members of our team are on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.
