Who We Are

Imaging Services provides physicians with high-quality images that allow our expert radiologists to give accurate diagnosis and treatment planning to the patient.We are proud to be accredited the American College of Radiology for CT, MRI, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine and PET. In order to maintain the highest level of quality within the department, all WGH imaging technologists are certified and recognized by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists, the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, or the Nuclear Medical Testing Certification Board.

Our Services

After receiving a referral from your physician, you can call us and schedule an appointment. Following the your appointment, a hospital radiologist will study your films and then dictate a report about the the results. This report will be sent to the patient’s physician within 24 hours.   • Do I Need a Referral?

    Before visiting Imaging Services for testing, you must have a referral from a physician. Upon referral, you can then schedule an appointment with Imaging Services. In addition to scheduled appointments, the radiology facilities in Imaging Services are always open for inpatients and emergency patients in need of immediate diagnostic testing
