New COVID-19 Screening Policy at WGH

As of May 31, 2021, Warren General Hospital will no longer have its employees providing COVID screening at the entrances of Warren General Hospital. Instead, our digital facial temperature device will be used for screening at entrances B and F to take your temperature.

Instructions will be posted at the device. Please follow the instructions that are posted for guidance on what to do if you have a fever greater than 100.4° F.

All patients, visitors and employees continue to be required to wear a mask within Warren General Hospital and all of the Warren Medical Group physician offices, even if you have been vaccinated. Although the CDC has eased the recommendations for masking among those who are fully vaccinated in many situations, wearing masks in hospitals and physician offices (as well as public transportation on planes, buses, etc.) is still required. You can find the specific CDC guidance here by clicking on the link:

You will be asked screening questions upon arrival to your hospital or office destination, as well.

Thank you for your cooperation in this important safety matter.
