We are committed to creating a safe environment for our patients. Warren General Hospital has a clearly defined, ongoing Patient Safety Program that involves hospital leaders, physicians, managers, and employees to sustain the organization’s focus on patient safety.

This program enables us to attain a deeper understanding of the processes of our health care delivery systems through tracking and trending of incidents and events. At Warren General Hospital, we encourage a “blame-free” environment that encourages reporting of potential problem processes and discussion of ways to improve our systems to prevent errors from occurring.

We also strive to include patients as active participants in their care and promote patient and family questioning of routine, procedures, and processes whenever something does not look or seem “right”.
