Who We Are
Founded in 1979, Hospice of Warren County's hospice program is a non-profit, Medicare certified, affiliate of Warren General Hospital. Hospice of Warren County strives to provide optimal comfort and quality of life to any terminally-ill patient who:
In order to provide such individuals with this level of comfort, the Hospice team works with each patient, family, and patient doctor, to design an individualized plan of care meant to ensure the comfort of the patient and the patient’s family.
Services We Offer
Hospice of Warren County also offers the following additional services:
In addition to providing services regardless of a patient’s race, age, sex, ethnic background, or handicap, Hospice of Warren County also does not discriminate against patients based on their ability to pay. While the hospice program does accept payments from Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurances, community support through United Fund donations, memorial gifts, donations, bequests, and its membership drive help defray the cost of the extensive Hospice of Warren County services that are not reimbursed. The success of the program depends on this invaluable community support. Hospice of Warren County is a member of the Pennsylvania Hospice Network and the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization.
