Who We Are

Founded in 1979, Hospice of Warren County's hospice program is a non-profit, Medicare certified, affiliate of Warren General Hospital. Hospice of Warren County strives to provide optimal comfort and quality of life to any terminally-ill patient who:

  • -Resides in Warren County or the surrounding area.
  • -Has approval of his or her physician.
  • -Has a life expectancy of 6 months or less if the illness runs its normal course.
  • -Has a family member or other appropriate person available to assist with continuing care needs and decision-making processes.
  • -Has changed the medical goal from curative to comfort treatment.
  • -Has knowledge of prognosis and has consented to care.

  • In order to provide such individuals with this level of comfort, the Hospice team works with each patient, family, and patient doctor, to design an individualized plan of care meant to ensure the comfort of the patient and the patient’s family.
