Your Food Service

Warren General Hospital offers one of the newest, most innovative foodservice programs available today. In order to serve our patients better we offer “At Your Request Room Service Dining Program”. This program gives you the flexibility to choose the foods you prefer to eat and the time you want your meals.

Soon after your admission to Warren General Hospital, your physician will prescribe a specific diet to meet your particular needs. Once your doctor has prescribed the diet you may use the menu available on your bedside table to place your meal orders. Simply call extension 2222 between the hours of 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. To receive your meal, you must call and place an order unless other arrangements have been made through nursing. Your meal will be promptly delivered within 30 to 45 minutes. While meals can be ordered any time between 6:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., the suggested meal times are:

• -Beverages - 6:30 am
• -Breakfast - 8:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.
• -Lunch - 10:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
• -Dinner - 5:00 p.m. – 6:00p.m.

Some things to remember:

Assistance is available in setting up your tray and opening any containers if needed. Your help is appreciated, when possible, in clearing off your bedside tray table prior to meal times. Please call nursing for assistance in adjusting your bed.

Guest Meals: If you have a family member or friend that wishes to dine with you, guest meals are available. These may be ordered through the same number (ext. 2222) and must be paid for at the time of delivery.

In addition, visitors may wish to eat in our cafeteria or in the Window Box Cafe’ located just outside the cafeteria on the first floor. Vending machines are also located near the Crescent Park Health Clinic on the first floor.
