Who We Are

Warren General Hospital Emergency Care Center is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week to treat emergencies—any illness or injury that can't wait for an examination by a family physician. Our highly skilled physicians and caregivers treat a variety of conditions, from sprains and fractures to heart attacks and car accidents. All of our physicians in the ECC are board certified.

Upon your arrival at the ECC, an experienced triage nurse will perform an assessment. Triage is the clinical process of prioritizing and assessing the severity of your medical condition. This information helps to prioritize patients based on the urgency of their symptoms. It is important to note patients are not seen on a first-come, first-serve basis. We want to assure that you will receive the appropriate level of care as soon as possible.

The length of time in the ECC is different for everyone. Depending on your condition, the extent of tests that may be needed to make a diagnosis, the specialists that may be required to evaluate you, and the number of other patients seeking care at the same time will all impact the amount of time for proper diagnosis and treatment.

Our goal is to provide excellence in community health with quality and compassion. The length of time in the ECC is different for everyone. Depending on your condition, the extent of tests that may be needed to make a diagnosis, the specialists that may be required to evaluate you, and the number of other patients seeking care at the same time will all impact the amount of time for proper diagnosis and treatment. We want you to understand that completing all of these steps with excellence in quality can take time.
